extremely well-designed museum has a history of turning to another virtually unknown in the urban paradise design junkie (see Bilbao, Spain, by Frank Gehry). And I must admit: This is not a bad idea to promote tourism. In fact, Groningen was reached only by the darkness in my candidate for small European cities, one day to visit the Tour, because it's the mad house that art, caramel color, post-modern, medieval and contemporary strange Design Museum, which recently reopened after major ($ 10 billion) by a band of renewal of the Euro uber-designers.

The museum looks interesting, De Ploeg paintings, a collection of silver, post-modern Italian furniture in Memphis, contemporary art of the Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States and China, but the building and the interiors are real to do this: entry and stay, Studio Job, a futuristic Information Center Spanish artist / designer Jaime Hayon (deceived in his BD Showtime Chairs and lights Copa Cabana), restaurant Mendini, a Dutch designer Martin Baas (best known for his clay-series) and over -the-top, mosaic tile exterior pastel palace Italian designer Alessandro Mendini. In addition, two other architectural elements designed by Philippe Starck and Coop Himmelb (l) au.
